Bobbi-Jo Molokken, LISW, CCTP, ADHD-CCSP is a psychotherapist and an ADHD Coach & Educator. She practices from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, which sees there are many different neurotypes. ADHD is not something to be cured, rather a naturally occurring variance in how the brain functions. Challenges that arise for ADHDers are often caused by social and environmental factors. Providing quality and affirming treatment of ADHDers requires a deep knowledge of how ADHD works and understanding that strategies that work well for neurotypical clients, may not work as well for neurodivergent individuals.
